Tanja Meyburgh

Biografie van Tanja Meyburgh in het Engels:

Tanja Meyburgh, counselling psychologist, is a renowned Family and Systems Constellations trainer and supervisor and regular contributor to the international publications and journals in this field.

As founder of African Constellations, she has taken 20 groups through a full facilitator training and is the primary pioneer of constellations work in South Africa and has specialised in this field since 2003. She has assisted organisations in South Africa involved with addiction, adoption, trauma, political violence, community development and diversity.

More recently Tanja has co-founded Ancestral Connections integrating dance and constellations, and the REAL Academy, an online resource for Embodied and Ancestral Learning. Tanja has also presented at the international intensives in Germany, South Africa and Australasia, and accepted invitations to teach at conferences and workshops in Germany, Austria, Belgium, United Kingdom, Kuwait, Netherlands, Portugal and the USA. Tanja’s MA (Psych) in Narrative Therapy has had a big impact on how she views power relations and work with marginalised voices and communities.

She also has training and experience in wilderness therapy, art therapy, expressive movement and Southern African lineage wisdom.

Tanja provides a creative and experiential learning space that brings a sense of soul and spirit in a psychologically grounded way. Her interest in self-growth, personal & collective ritual and embodiment supports her to hold a broad and deep container for clients’ personal and professional process. Her work is described by those who know her as gentle and incisive. Tanja lives in Cape Town with her two children.

Lindiwe Mthembu-Salter

Lindiwe is a Family Constellations (2006) facilitator, a counsellor, healer and a trainer. She works with both individual clients and groups. Her therapeutic practice has been enhanced by her deep knowledge of Zulu cultural practices, and particularly its wisdom in the healing field. An important aspect to this wisdom is its attention to the spirit of ukulungisa. This word means to create balance by sorting things out, in order to bring harmony. She also integrates Systemic Constellations with her previous training in Integrative Humanistic Counselling (1990-1994, Bath UK). In addition, Lindiwe has an Anthropology honours degree which she obtained in 2009 at the University of the Western Cape. She works with a variety of local and international organisations. Over the years, she has acquired a strong repertoire of skills for facilitating self-care programmes, and is able to offer a diversity of healing approaches, including for inter-generational trauma where the acknowledgement of ancestral connections is particularly important. From 2019-2024, she trained in Logosynthesis, and is now a qualified practitioner. Logosynthesis is an elegant and effective approach that is designed to help people to dissolve blocked or misplaced energy in time and space. It is based on a holistic understanding of human beings and integrates elements that stem from self-coaching and guided change work. Some people have expressed that her work is brave, and generous, living her truth with gentleness. For more details please go to: www.phuzumoya.com wellness &healing
